Was held at the Serpa Gallery, Old Town Hall, Newmarket Google Map
Juror for this show was York Region Artist, Ray McNeice (Stouffville). Renowned Artist, Pauline Holancin (now 90 years young) was honoured. Pauline, a lifetime artist is known for her work as an instructor, juror, volunteer and advocate for the arts.
JUROR’S COMMENTS:
As an admittedly novice juror, to be asked to oversee the accomplishments of this talented and diverse group has been an honour, albeit with a huge learning curve. I have always loved the watercolour medium for its immediacy, transparency and, as an avid traveler and painter “en plein air”, its portability. The Toronto Watercolour Society, with its wide range of skills and approaches, has been an educational and exciting experience for me to jury. I wish to thank you all for trusting me with this task.
