Interested in becoming a member of the Toronto Watercolour Society (TWS)?

In order to be considered for membership, kindly visit our Contact page and fill out the form. You will be added to our waiting list and will be contacted prior to the intake date, generally the beginning of March.

What are the requirements to become a member of TWS?

Members must be 19 years and older and reside within the GTA.
We welcome individuals who are interested in watercolour and water-media painting, with no portfolio review.
The Society is meant to be a “hands on” group, and members are expected to volunteer to ensure the continued growth and stability of the Society.
In order to maintain your membership and to participate in future shows, active participation on a committee in one category is required.

What are the benefits of being a TWS member?

Participate in two juried shows per year, awards in a variety of categories
Earn a Signature Membership by being accepted into six juried shows
Earn Signature Membership Distinction Level (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) for cumulative number of juried shows
Earn the opportunity to receive an Ontario Volunteer Service Award
Participate in members only exhibitions as planned
Attend weekend workshops with professional artists
